SHARON OSBOURNE Wonders Why HARVEY WEINSTEIN Never Behaved Inappropriately Toward Her

November 7, 2017

Sharon Osbourne has revealed that Harvey Weinstein never made inappropriate advances on her, prompting her to wonder what was "wrong" with her.

Ozzy Osbourne's wife and manager worked with the disgraced producer and his brother Bob Weinstein on concert promoting in the 1980s and later on her family's TV show "The Osbournes".

Harvey Weinstein's career was brought to a halt after dozens of women in the entertainment industry — including Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie — accused him of varying degrees of sexual misconduct over the years.

Osbourne, who has three children with Ozzy, tells Event magazine: "I never had a problem. And then part of you thinks: 'What's wrong with me, Harvey?' He never did anything like that to me.

"But then you think about it, and you realize it's because of the type of woman you are. I've never faced any sexual abuse, but I think I've always given off a particular vibe that says: 'Don't mess with me.' If a man had ever tried, he would be dead. No question."

One month after a New York Times exposé reported decades of alleged sexual harassment by Weinstein, he has been ousted from the Television Academy, banned for life from the Producers Guild of America and voted out of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He is also facing suspension and disciplinary charges from BAFTA and the Directors Guild of America.

A spokeswoman for Weinstein has repeatedly denied allegations "of non-consensual sex." Weinstein has also apologized for "the way I've behaved with colleagues in the past."
